Weekend is over and it is back to a more regular schedule at the Royal Alex. Jigger got a great session with his physio today, great to be back at his HOP workout. The kids spent most of the day at the hospital and got to spend some quality time with Mom and Dad.
Jason is still in a private room and Colette and Jason are enjoying that much more. Jigger is hoping to have the trake out soon and enjoy a HUGE glass of water! Visiting hours are from 11 to 8!! but Colette has been working the nurses to come in early and stay late! Good job Colette!
Will be up tomorrow to see Jigger and Colette! Keep up the hard work.

Jigger had a very relaxing day! Streeter got to visit with him and catch him up on work and the Hawtins stopped by to see what was happening!The kids have a PD day tomorrow so they are up tonight to spend some time with Dad.Still have the private room and it is looking good to stay where they are at for a while?
Now that the weekend is over Jigger is hoping to get back to the Work out he has been doing with Physio!
Just want to take a minute to thank Lacombe Ringette association and Lacombe Minor Hockey and Central Alberta AA ringette for all the wonderful baskets, cards and thoughts that have been sent our way in the past few weeks they are so much appreciated more than you know. And thank you to everyone for their support through this hard work!

Sorry about the late update! Jigger got his wish today and is in a private room with an air bed! Rules are still in effect but in true Lunn fashion we are stretching them to the MAX! Colette did not get kicked out until she was ready to leave! Atta Girl!! Jigger was happy to see the sun shining today and just have a relaxing Saturday with Colette and Jenny.
Ok Jigger i have been plowing snow since I got home! And I keep chasing those so called ridges and I give up! Not sure what you get out of it but Hurry up and get back here! GL

Big move today! Down the hall and into Unit 33 Recovery. Little more room but has a cozy 4 bed set up!
Jason and Colette are hoping for a private room to open up tomorrow? The new ward has rules attached, apparently! Visiting hours are from 11 - 8 pm and they are not too flexable about it. Not much of a sense of humor either?
Jigger worked hard with physio today so was ready for an early night and a good sleep. He was rocking out to ACDC with the nurse's this morning

This morning Colette let me know Jigger had a huge night! He had his speaking valve on the entire night with no problems and slept very comfortable!Had a great session with physio, got a new bed again and sat up in the Royal Alex Lazy Boy!
Then Jigger went into overdrive!He talked them into putting him in a wheelchair to get a tour of the Hospital and even got a look outside at the last few rays of sunshine today. Grandma Dea was there too and said it was awesome and you could not wipe the smile of Jiggers face!
If he keeps this pace up ICU will be in the dust in no time! Great job Jigger I will be heading up in the morning to see for myself. Yes I will bring you a D&M hat up!

We got to spend 3-4 hours with Jigger and Colette today and they are both doing awesome! Jigger has made friends with most of his nurses and physio therapists, and it is great to see him smile. He is doing great with his speaking valve and lasting longer with it on everyday. He keeps pushing longer with his physio workouts and is seeing great results each day. Jigger just keeps dreaming of an Ice cold glass of water? Or BEER!
Jigger needed to get a work update about D&M and was also asking about LLL Trucking so Brett had to give him a update in person! I think Brett just wanted to ditch work today but it was great to have him there today. Once he gets out of ICU he will be able to see more visitors and the way he is working it won't be long!
Jason and Colette just want to thank everyone for their thoughtful gifts that have found their way up to them as well as the supplies that have been brought over to John and Sharon's for the kids!
And a huge Thankyou from the entire Lunn family for all the calls, emails and the comments on this blog.
Please keep them coming it is something we all enjoy to read.
