Jigger survived his first day! Lots of assessing and questions in the first few sessions.

They got right after working hard today! Physio is very pleased with his determination! Jason put his splints on himself and buckled his seat belt.

Jigger's PT is Allison the physio from ICU.

All pooped out after a weekend with Dad. A little R and R before Jason starts going hard Monday morning.

Colette loves the staff here, She has got more info in 3 days at the Glenrose that she has in the last 7 weeks up there! Shoot from the hip info!

Jigger is dressed and ready to make the move over to the Glenrose! Here we go!

Grandma Dea made the trip up today to make sure the move went ahead as planned!

Jigger got fitted to a "Temp" chair for the weekend, went on tour of where he will be spending his days. They have a HOP room that rocks! Weights -Ropes- good stuff!

Jigger had a huge day with doctors and meetings and tours! Lots of Visitors today wishing Jason and Colette all the best. Looks like Jigger gets the weekend off and then gets right at it on Monday.

There are some new rules that the Glenrose enforces! Visiting is limited to after 6pm during the week and Weekends! Jason will be working very hard during the day so he will not have time to sit and visit.This is what we have been hoping for a long time!

Well most of you have heard the great news but JIGGER IS ON THE MOVE!! Glen rose bound tomorrow morning at 9am! All packed up and ready to go, New shorts and sporting some Asic Gel Kayano shoes to get the ball rolling in rehab! Had to check his foot size so we threw a work boot on him to size him up?

Took Jigger out for a burger today and he inhaled it and said it tasted soooo good!

Jason bought Pizza for all the staff on unit 33 and everyone has been stopping by to wish him all the best over at the Glenrose! They all have been great help and very supportive with Jason during his stay on the unit.

Ok So it is really time to leave! The 3rd floor just ran out of Diet Coke! And the new room mate has been having a Domestic since he arrived! Great drama and kinda Funny to watch!  TIME TO GO..

Jigger got his wish today.... finally a private room (for now), room mate was shipped out!  Jason told the nurses he wanted to interview any prospective room mates.  Another big first, Jason just had is first bath today, felt fantastic.... spa day at the Alex.  But it did tire him out as he had to hold his head up.  Jigger finally has Internet in room so for the first time has checked his emails and is now up-to-date on things,  very much enjoyed being in the loop.

Had a great visit with Jigger today,Dave Troy and I were up today. Jason and Colette look good and we got to spend some tim eout in the atrium while Jason had lunch. I had some papers that needed signed and Jason got it done! Signature looks great!

 Colette and I had a great meeting with the Charge nurse and got some questions answered on how the transfer works from The Alex to the Glenrose. Jason is second on the list and she is calling everyday just to check on the availability of a transfer. We have got a routine set up everyday so he can start preparing for what is going to happen once he goes over to the Glenrose.

I had to go over just to see for myself! Looks like a great place very positive and enviting place. Bumped into a Pysio that Jason had in ICU, she got transfered over 3 weeks ago, and she remembered Jason and had been keeping an eye open for him, and will keep checking for us too!

Right now a positive attitude and determination is what Jigger needs! We will KEEP HOLDING THE ROPE for you JIGGER!!
